TESY EV 80 46 Buffer Tank, 80 L, Enamelled Vessel
Stabilises the hydraulics of a heat pump installation and cuts down compressor cycling.
The TESY EV 80 46 buffer tank is built for heat pump systems and works without built-in heat exchangers. Its enamelled vessel holds a nominal 80 L, mounts vertically on the wall and is rated for 6 bar working pressure.
Enamelled vessel for hot-water circuits
The glass-ceramic lining on the inner wall protects the steel in constant contact with water. Maximum operating temperature is 95 °C, covering both heat pump and back-up heat source regimes.
50 mm polyurethane insulation, 45 W standing loss
That figure is measured at a 45 K difference between the water and the surrounding air. The high-density foam holds the stored heat between heat pump cycles.
Four G 1.1/4" inlets and four outlets for higher flow
The connections allow two heat sources to be tied in at once. Separate ports are provided for drainage at G 1½” and air venting at G ¾”.
Stratification brackets keep temperature layers intact
Baffles at the upper and lower connections calm the incoming flow and keep the hot water in the top of the tank. There is also an option to fit a heating element.
