TESY VB 5038 D02 P2 Non-Enamelled Buffer Tank, 50 L SLIM, Vertical, 4 Inlets and 4 Outlets
Connects to two heat sources and works in both heating and cooling mode.
The TESY VB 5038 D02 P2 is a non-enamelled vertical buffer tank with 48 L capacity from the 50 L SLIM range, built for heat pump and other heating systems. Its 34 mm INSUTECH insulation holds the fluid temperature, while metal G1½" ports handle high flow rates. The tank also acts as a hydraulic separator between the heat source and the circuits.
Four inlets and four outlets for two heat sources
The ports are metal with a G1½" thread, so a heat pump and a second source such as a pellet boiler can be piped in parallel. A dedicated air vent connection makes commissioning the system easier.
34 mm INSUTECH insulation with 49.6 W heat loss
That figure is measured at a 45 K temperature difference and places the tank in energy class C. Maximum operating temperature is 95 °C at 6 bar rated pressure, covering the duty of modern heat pump and boiler systems.
Two thermo sensor pockets and an option for a heating element
The G½" pockets sit at two different heights, letting the controller read temperature in both the upper and lower zone of the tank. A port for fitting an electric heating element as a back-up source is also provided.
SLIM body, 386 mm diameter, with wall mounting plate
At 808 mm high and with an integrated plate, the tank mounts vertically on the wall in a plant room or in a recess next to the heat pump. The casing is white sheet metal.
