The TESY GCV 804424C B14 TSR is a vertical 80 L electric water heater from the Anticalc Ceramic range, with a slim 44 cm diameter. Its ceramic heating element stays out of direct contact with the water, while the glass-ceramic lined tank is protected by an anode. A mechanical thermostat controls the 2400 W single-phase element.
Ceramic element made for hard, highly mineralised water
The element is encapsulated and runs at a low surface temperature, which limits limescale build-up. Because it never touches the water, it can be replaced without draining the tank.
Heats to 60 °C in 1 h 47 min
That figure is measured for a 45 K rise, from 15 °C to 60 °C. The unit is rated to load profile L and delivers 147 L of mixed water at 40 °C, enough for several showers back to back.
Insutech insulation cuts standby losses
There is no thermal bridge between tank and casing, so less energy is spent simply keeping the water hot. Annual electricity consumption is rated at 2748 kWh, energy class C.
Vertical mounting in a 44 cm diameter body
At 85.8 cm high and 46.7 cm deep, the heater fits narrow bathrooms, service shafts or the space above a basin. Temperature is set on a mechanical thermostat, and the Bilight indicator shows the current operating mode.
