The TESY GCU 0515 M02 RC (Compact 5) is a 5-litre vertical electric water heater designed for under-sink installation. At 32.80 cm high and 23.4 cm in diameter it slides into a standard kitchen cabinet next to the trap, and it runs on a simple mechanical thermostat with a glass-ceramic tank and anode protection.
Fits under the sink without wall mounting
The heater stands upright inside the cabinet, right next to the tap. The short pipe run means less cold water to flush through before the hot flow arrives.
Heats to 60 °C in 10 minutes
The copper heating element rated at 1.500 kW covers dishwashing and handwashing shortly after switch-on. Outlet temperature reaches 65 °C, and the XXS load profile delivers 8 litres of water at 40 °C.
Glass-ceramic tank with anode protection
The tank is lined with glass ceramic, while the magnesium anode takes on the corrosive load of the water instead of the tank walls. That construction is behind the 60-month warranty listed for the model.
Mechanical thermostat and energy class B
Temperature is set with a single rotary knob, with no menus to learn. Annual electricity consumption is 571 kWh on a single-phase 230 V supply.
