The TESY GCHL 804430 B12 TSR is a horizontal electric water heater with a real capacity of 80 L and 3 kW rated power, designed for wall mounting in a bathroom or utility room. The tank carries a glass-ceramic lining plus anode protection, and the heating element is copper. A mechanical thermostat handles the settings on a standard 230 V single-phase supply.
Horizontal body, 85.5 cm long
Mounted lying flat on the wall, the heater occupies the strip of space that usually goes to waste: above a door, under the ceiling, or over a washing machine. Diameter is 44 cm, and on the GCHL version the electrical compartment sits on the left, which also sets the side for the plumbing connections.
3 kW for faster heat-up
3 kW is the highest rating commonly offered on domestic water heaters of this size. The immersed copper element works with a mechanical thermostat, so the temperature is set with a single turn of the knob.
Glass-ceramic tank with anode protection
The glass-ceramic lining separates the steel from the water, while the magnesium anode takes on the corrosive load instead of the tank walls. Together they are the reason the tank carries such a long manufacturer warranty term.
