The TESY GCH 804430 B12 TSR is a horizontal electric water heater with a real capacity of 80 L and a copper heating element. It runs on a single-phase supply, is controlled by a mechanical thermostat and has a glass-ceramic lined tank with anode protection. At 44.0 cm in diameter it slots into narrow bathrooms and utility spaces.
Horizontal mounting saves wall height
The tank is fixed lying down, with the electrical section on the side. That way 80 L of hot water fit above a door, in a suspended ceiling or in a recess where an upright unit will not go.
3 kW rating, the top of the domestic range
This is the highest power normally offered on domestic electric water heaters, so a full tank is ready sooner. The unit runs on a standard single-phase household circuit.
Glass-ceramic tank with anode protection
The inner wall is lined with glass ceramics, while the magnesium anode takes on the corrosion load instead of the steel. The unit carries a 60-month warranty.
Mechanical thermostat and copper element
Temperature is set with a rotary knob, with no electronics or display to configure. The heating element is copper and immersed in the water.
