The TEDAN Standard BT 80 HL INOX is a horizontal electric water heater with a true 80.0 L capacity and a stainless steel tank. The electrical section sits on the left, the water connections point downwards and measure 1/2". A safety valve is included in the box.
EN 1.4401 stainless steel tank
The alloyed steel wall is 1.25 mm to 1.8 mm thick and pressure-tested at 12 bar, while the working pressure is 6 bar. With no enamel lining, there is no coating to crack inside the tank.
Horizontal mounting with left-side connections
The 90 cm long body has a 41.9 cm diameter and hangs on two brackets with 520 mm hole spacing. Pipes exit downwards, so the unit fits high above a basin or over a bathroom door.
Replaceable magnesium anode and anti-freeze protection
The multi-component anode can be unscrewed and replaced during servicing, with a service life the maker rates up to 50% longer than a standard anode. The Thermowatt thermostat works up to 75 °C and adds anti-freeze mode for unheated rooms in winter.
CFC-free polyurethane insulation
Insulation reaches 49 mm and keeps the water hot between heating cycles. The declared annual energy consumption is 1489 kWh, in energy class C.
