Hot water for a household of two to three, with a copper heating element and anti-freeze thermostat.
The TEDAN Classic 80 l electric water heater is a vertical unit with an enamelled tank and a 3 kW copper heating element, made for wall mounting in a bathroom or utility room. Actual capacity is 80 l, with a height of 100.40 cm and a diameter of 39.5 cm. A safety non-return valve and a mounting bracket are supplied.
3 kW copper element heats the tank quickly
3 kW is the highest rating commonly offered on domestic water heaters of this class. The copper element runs on a single-phase 230 V supply, and the external thermostat knob sets the temperature up to 72 °C.
Enamelled tank with magnesium anode
The steel tank carries a quartz-rich powder enamel coating and is pressure-tested at 12 bar, with a 6 bar maximum working pressure. The three-component magnesium anode can be removed and replaced during servicing, and the enamelled tank suits areas with softer water.
Two thermostats plus anti-freeze setting
Control is handled by two thermostats, one of which guards against overheating. The minimum-temperature setting is why the model is also used in holiday homes that stand empty in winter. An indicator light shows when the element is on, and protection rating is IPX4.
Freon-free polyurethane insulation
The layer is 25 to 49 mm thick and holds heat between draw-offs. Annual energy consumption is 1429 kWh and the energy class is C. Water connections are 1/2", with 140 – 340 mm between the bracket holes.
