The BOSCH TR4501T 80 DERB from the Tronic 4500 T range is a slim electric storage water heater with an 80 L volume group and 65 L usable capacity. It mounts either vertically or horizontally, with an electronic thermostat and LED display handling temperature and modes. The enamelled twin tank works with two stainless heating elements finished in thermo-ceramic coating.
Smart mode that learns your household routine
The unit tracks how much hot water is used and at what times. After at least one week of monitoring it adapts hot-water production to the actual demand, trimming energy use. Eco mode fixes the temperature at 55 °C for steady comfort at lower running cost.
Manual and timed modes for hot water on schedule
Manual mode lets you set any temperature between 30 °C and 75 °C via the six-button panel. Timed mode prepares the water for a chosen hour and temperature, while the boost function shortens the wait before the first shower. The display shows current temperature and the selected mode.
Slim body that fits a kitchen cabinet or niche
It stands 78.70 cm high with a 56.9 cm span, and the multi-position design allows both vertical and horizontal mounting. When fitted horizontally, the display readout rotates to match the orientation. The universal mounting plate lines up with older units, so no new holes in the wall.
Twin enamelled tank with two heating elements
Two stainless heating elements with thermo-ceramic coating share the heating load and keep output steady in daily use. The thermo-ceramic tank protection limits corrosion and scale, and the built-in anode tester shows the state of that protection.
Automatic disinfection and frost protection
The disinfection programme treats the interior of the tank without any action from you. Frost protection keeps the water above the critical point as long as the unit stays connected to the mains, which matters in holiday homes and seasonally used properties.
