The ARISTON LYDOS R 80 V 3K EU is a wall-mounted electric water heater with an 80 L usable capacity and vertical installation. It runs on a single-phase 230 V supply and handles pressurised mains systems up to 8 bar. Control is mechanical, with a thermostat and an externally accessible temperature dial.
3 kW heating for fast hot-water recovery
Bringing the full tank up by 45 °C takes 1 hour and 18 minutes. Three kilowatts is the top of the range normally offered on domestic electric water heaters, so a second shower is ready soon after the first.
Titanium-enamelled tank with magnesium anode
The interior is finished in high-grade titanium enamel, while a large magnesium anode takes on the corrosive load of the water. The immersed heating element is copper.
WaterPlus technology: up to 16% more usable hot water
The patented design keeps incoming cold water at the bottom of the tank and limits mixing with the heated volume. The same 80 L therefore deliver more water at a usable temperature during peak draw-off.
Dual safety thermostat and IPX3 protection
Maximum working temperature is 75 °C, and the dual safety thermostat cuts power in case of overheating. The IPX3 rating suits the damp conditions of a bathroom.
Compact 45 cm diameter body for wall mounting
The unit stands 77.30 cm tall and weighs 20.5 kg empty, keeping wall installation manageable. Cold inlet and hot outlet connections are G 1/2”.
