The BOSCH TR5501iT 50 EBP storage water heater from the Tronic 5500i T range connects to your Wi-Fi network and is operated through an app. The tank features a thermo-ceramic coating, while the heating element is stainless steel with a thermo-ceramic layer. Mounting is multiposition: vertical or horizontal, to suit the space in your bathroom.
App control over Wi-Fi
Set the temperature and heating schedule remotely, and track energy use in the app. The electronic thermostat holds your chosen setting without any manual adjustment at the unit.
Dual tank for a faster first shower
The split tank heats the upper section first, halving the wait for the first hot water. Rated power is 3 kW on a single-phase 230 V supply.
Smart algorithm that learns your hot water habits
The heater tracks when hot water is actually drawn and schedules heating around that pattern. Annual energy consumption is 1293 kWh, with energy class B.
Multiposition mounting: vertical or horizontal
The same unit hangs in either orientation, which helps with low ceilings or installation above a washing machine. The body measures 87.50 cm in height and 27.8 cm in diameter.
Thermo-ceramic protection with anode tester
