The HERLY cucumber net 1.7 x 20 m is a green support netting for growing climbing vegetables vertically in the garden or greenhouse. Plants grip the 15 x 17 cm openings on their own as they climb. Each item is a single roll that covers a long planting row.
15 x 17 cm openings that stems grip on their own
The wide openings of the HERLY net give tendrils something to grab as they climb. You simply weave new growth through the mesh instead of tying every plant by hand. The openings are large enough to reach through when harvesting.
UV-stabilised for several seasons outdoors
The HERLY net is UV-stabilised to withstand sunlight and contact with crop protection sprays. At the end of the season it rolls up for storage and reuse. The material is light, so one person can carry and tension a whole roll.
Double thread along the edges for firm tensioning
Both long edges of the HERLY net are reinforced with a double thread, exactly where the load falls when the netting is tensioned between stakes. That lets it carry the weight of fruiting cucumbers and tomatoes as well as peas and beans. The 1.7 m height suits standard garden stakes.
More air and light around the foliage
Growing vertically on the HERLY net spreads plants out in a plane instead of letting them sprawl on the soil. Foliage dries faster after rain or watering and the fruit stays clean and easy to spot.
