The Raider RD-GST03 is a self-propelled gas snow thrower with a 196 cc four-stroke engine and a 61 cm clearing width. Its two-stage design feeds snow up to 51 cm deep through the auger to an impeller that discharges it via a steel chute.
Two-stage auger and impeller for packed, wet snow
The auger breaks up the snow pack and feeds it to the impeller, which handles the discharge through the chute. Throwing distance reaches 11 m, so cleared paths stay clear over successive passes.
Self-propelled drive with 4 forward and 1 reverse speed
Permanent drive to both 13x4.10-6 tyres pulls the machine along snow-covered slopes, while the gear selection matches the pace to snow density. Reverse backs the unit out of a drift without manhandling.
Steel chute with adjustable direction and height
A control handle sets the discharge direction, while the deflector angle decides whether snow lands close by or far to the side. Both adjusters are metal, standing up to cold and icy debris.
Adjustable slide shoes for uneven ground
The shoes set auger clearance above the surface — lower for smooth concrete, higher for gravel and pavers. A friction clutch transmits drive smoothly when starting off with a loaded housing.
