The STIHL FS 361 C-EM petrol brushcutter is built for professionals in landscaping, agriculture and municipal services. Its 37.7 cc engine delivers 1.70 kW (2.30 hp) and the line cutting width reaches 52 cm, with a dry weight of 8.6 kg without cutting tool and deflector.
M-Tronic 3.0 — no carburettor screws to adjust
Ignition timing and fuel metering are set automatically according to temperature, altitude and fuel quality. Full power is available from the first minutes of work, with no manual re-tuning when the terrain or the season changes.
ErgoStart and manual fuel pump for quick starts
A spring between the crankshaft and the starter rope pulley lets the engine fire on a slow, even pull. The pump primes the carburettor before starting, which helps after longer breaks in operation.
ADVANCE Grip handles with tool-free adjustment
The side-mounted trigger lockout and the handle profile allow several grip positions, so the hands can be repositioned to suit the task. The bike handle clamps centrally and rotates 90 degrees for transport and compact storage.
Carburettor compensator extends service intervals
Pressure compensation keeps power output, exhaust quality and fuel consumption virtually constant as the air filter loads up. The filter is easy to reach and only needs cleaning when a noticeable drop in performance appears.
2-MIX engine plus summer/winter operating mode
The two-stroke engine runs on a petrol/oil mixture and complies with the EU Stage V emissions standard. A slider switches between summer and winter operation; the winter setting prevents icing of the air filter and carburettor.
