The RAIDER RD-SBM01 petrol sickle bar mower cuts a 107 cm swath with a reciprocating cutter bar that handles stems up to 8 mm thick — work rotary mowers are not built for. Its 174 cm³ four-stroke engine and driven wheels cover around 3000 m² of alfalfa, lavender, mint or overgrown rows.
107 cm cutter bar for tall, tough growth
Twin serrated blades run at 1000 strokes per minute and shear the stalks with a scissor action instead of striking them. Cut material falls in an even row beside the machine, ready to rake for hay or compost.
Self-propelled drive at 3 km/h on 13-inch wheels
The drive pulls the machine forward while the operator only steers the handlebar — a real advantage on long passes and uneven ground. Tractor-tread tyres keep traction on damp grass and slopes.
OHV engine with 10.5 Nm of torque
The single-cylinder four-stroke unit runs on 90-octane unleaded petrol and starts by recoil, with no fuel-oil mixing. A separate 0.6 l oil sump allows regular oil changes and long sessions in heavy growth.
Adjustable 30–80 mm cutting height
The bar sets higher when the ground is stony or badly rutted, protecting the blades from impact. The lowest setting delivers a clean cut in alfalfa and herb plantations.
