The SIKA Sika Boom-182 Foam Fix is a one-component polyurethane adhesive foam applied through a nozzle, developed to bond insulation and plasterboard panels. The 750 ml canister is applied by hand and is ready to use with no extra equipment. It suits both indoor and outdoor work on vertical and horizontal surfaces.
Permanent bonding of insulation boards
Sika Boom-182 Foam Fix bonds extruded (XPS) and expanded (EPS) polystyrene boards, plasterboard, rock wool, fibre-cement and gypsum panels. Strong adhesion to most building substrates makes the foam an economical way to fix thermal insulation.
Ready-to-use hand application with nozzle
The canister is applied directly through its nozzle, with no gun and no mixing needed. Sika Boom-182 Foam Fix cures quickly, shortening the wait between application and the next installation step.
Can be cut, sanded and painted
Once cured, Sika Boom-182 Foam Fix is easy to finish — it can be cut, sanded and painted. Good thermal insulation properties complement its adhesion when fitting façade and interior insulation.
