Sika Boom®-582 Foam Fix Polyurethane Gun Foam for Insulation 750 ml
Gun-applied polyurethane foam for fast, strong bonding of insulation boards.
Sika Boom®-582 Foam Fix is a one-component polyurethane gun foam for bonding insulation and plasterboard panels to most construction substrates. The 750 ml canister is applied with a PU foam gun, and once cured the foam can be cut, sanded and painted. It suits both interior and exterior work, on vertical and horizontal surfaces.
Strong bonding for insulation boards
Sika Boom®-582 Foam Fix permanently bonds insulation and plasterboard panels quickly and economically. The foam develops high initial strength, so boards are fixed shortly after application without extra props.
Compatible with XPS, EPS and PUR/PIR panels
Sika Boom®-582 Foam Fix bonds firmly to a wide range of insulation materials — extruded polystyrene (XPS), expanded polystyrene (EPS), wood fibre boards, cork and PUR/PIR panels. Good adhesion to most substrates makes it versatile on site.
Gun application for precise work
Sika Boom®-582 Foam Fix is applied with a PU foam gun that meters precisely and lets you lay controlled beads across the board. Unlike mechanical fixing with anchors, it causes no damage to the substrate.
Cut, sand and paint once cured
After curing, Sika Boom®-582 Foam Fix can be cut, sanded and painted, making finishing easy. Its reaction-to-fire class is B2 under the standard classification.
