Bonds EPS/XPS boards fast and cleanly — no dust, no waiting for cement mortar to cure.
CERESIT CT 84 is a Henkel pistol-applied polyurethane insulation foam for fixing expanded polystyrene (EPS/XPS) boards in facade systems. Ready to use and easily applied with a foam gun, it keeps the job clean, fast and dust-free. A single 850 ml canister bonds roughly 10 to 14 m² of boards, depending on the substrate and application method.
Bonds EPS/XPS boards without dust or wet mixing
CERESIT CT 84 fixes expanded polystyrene boards, joins panels within an insulation system and also works in a "insulation over insulation" build-up. The foam is ready to use straight from the can — no mixing, no bucket and no dust.
Fast curing for a quicker install
The foam skins over in about 10 minutes and fully cures in roughly 2 hours, speeding up facade progress compared with cement adhesives. Less waiting means you can move on to the next steps sooner.
Works even in cold conditions down to -10°C
CERESIT CT 84 applies across a wide range from -10°C to +40°C, so work doesn't stall during the colder months. Its low thermal conductivity of λ 0.040 W/mK keeps the facade's insulating performance intact.
Precise application with a foam gun
CT 84 is a gun-grade foam — it dispenses in a controlled way and can be aimed precisely along board edges and surfaces. It is also suitable for fixing external window sills once the surfaces are cleaned.
