Bonds insulation boards fast — no water, no on-site mixing.
BOSTIK TIGER is a gun-grade polyurethane adhesive foam for mounting EPS/XPS thermal insulation boards on façades. This single-component foam cures with air humidity and bonds firmly to concrete, brick, aerated concrete, plaster, wood and metal. The 750 ml canister is applied with a PU foam gun and replaces bags of cement-based adhesive on site.
Bonds EPS/XPS boards on façades and walls
BOSTIK TIGER bonds expanded and extruded polystyrene (EPS/XPS) boards, rigid PU foam and mineral wool to concrete, brick, aerated concrete, plaster and wood. The foam is applied around the edge and in strips 30 cm apart, leaving roughly 6–10 minutes of open time to position each board.
Gun application with no water or mixing
This gun foam screws onto an NBS-thread dispensing gun and is metered precisely with the flow screw. It needs no water and no on-site mixing, cures quickly and takes far less storage space than bags of cement adhesive.
Low thermal conductivity for energy efficiency
The polyurethane base cures with a low thermal conductivity of 30–35 mW/m·K and forms a moisture barrier while still letting water vapour pass through. BOSTIK TIGER withstands temperatures from -40°C to +90°C, making it suitable for exterior façade insulation all year round.
