AKFIX PU-960 is a hand-type polyurethane adhesive foam for thermal insulation, made for bonding EPS and XPS boards to walls and façades. This one-component aerosol foam cures with airborne moisture and forms a strong bond to most construction materials. The 750 ml can uses a direct straw applicator for manual work, so no foam gun is required.
Strong bonding for EPS and XPS boards
AKFIX PU-960 bonds polystyrene insulation boards (EPS and XPS) to concrete, brick, plaster and other substrates. The polyurethane foam forms a durable bond suited to external thermal insulation systems. It replaces heavy cement mortar when fixing insulation panels.
Fast moisture-triggered curing
The one-component foam cures with airborne moisture, so positioned boards grip quickly. This speeds up work on site and lets you move on to the next stage sooner. No mixing or preparation is needed.
Hand-type application without a gun
AKFIX PU-960 is the hand-type version with a straw applicator — you dispense it straight from the can, no gun required. It suits smaller jobs and one-off tasks. A separate PU-960 gun-grade version is available for gun application.
