AKFIX PU-960 (960P) is a gun-applied polyurethane adhesive foam for thermal insulation in a 750 ml can, made for bonding EPS and XPS polystyrene insulation boards. This single-component aerosol foam cures with air moisture to form a strong grip on a wide range of construction substrates. It is dispensed with a PU foam gun for precise, economical application.
Strong bond to EPS and XPS boards
AKFIX PU-960 firmly bonds EPS and XPS polystyrene insulation panels to walls and façades. The polyurethane adhesive also grips a variety of construction materials, making it suitable for complete thermal insulation systems.

AKFIX PU-960 cures quickly and allows mechanical fixing of the boards within two hours of application. This fast set speeds up installation and reduces waiting time on site.

A single can of AKFIX PU-960 covers up to 14 m² of bonded insulation boards, keeping material use low. The foam shows minimal expansion while curing, so the boards stay exactly in place.
Gun application for precise dosing
AKFIX PU-960 is applied with a PU foam gun that gives full control over the amount and the exact placement of the adhesive beads. It is compatible with standard applicator guns for polyurethane foam.
