Universal polyurethane foam for fast filling of joints, cavities and openings.
TKK PU FOAM UNIVERSAL is a one-component polyurethane hand-held foam for filling joints, cavities and construction openings, and for installing windows and doors. It is applied by hand with a mounting adapter (straw), so no gun is needed. The foam cures with air humidity and bonds firmly to wood, concrete, brick, metal and aluminium.
Fills joints, cavities and openings
TKK PU FOAM UNIVERSAL quickly fills construction openings and seals joints when fitting windows and doors. It also suits thermal insulation of plumbing and heating lines and the fixing of electrical and ventilation systems. A single 600 ml can yields 28–32 litres of cured foam.
Hand-held application, no gun required
The hand-held version is applied with a mounting adapter (straw), which is practical for one-off jobs around the home. The foam cures with air humidity, and lightly dampening the surface improves grip and speeds curing. It becomes tack-free 5–10 minutes after application.
Strong grip on most building materials
Once cured, the foam forms a strong joint and delivers excellent thermal and sound insulation. It adheres well to wood, concrete, foam concrete, brick, metal and aluminium, for both indoor and outdoor use. The cured foam should be protected from UV light, for example with paint or plaster.
