Sika Boom®-580 Fix & Fill PU Foam, 750 ml
Gun-applied polyurethane foam for precise filling and thermal insulation of joints and cavities.
Sika Boom®-580 Fix & Fill is a one-component expanding polyurethane foam applied with a foam gun, suitable for interior and exterior use. It fills joints around window and door frames, insulates cavities, pipes and penetrations. Once cured, the foam can be cut, sanded and painted over.
Gun application for precise, clean work
Sika Boom®-580 Fix & Fill screws directly onto a foam gun, giving full flow control through the trigger and adjustment screw. This lets you fill joints around window and door frames accurately, with minimal waste.
Thermal insulation and sound damping for cavities
The Sika Boom®-580 foam fills cavities and gaps with good thermal insulation and effective sound damping. It insulates against draughts, temperature swings and noise around pipes and penetrations.
Strong expansion with high volume yield
With around 200% expansion and roughly 45 l of yield per can, Sika Boom®-580 covers a large volume from a single pack. Its low density makes it economical for filling wide gaps.
Strong adhesion to most building materials
Sika Boom®-580 Fix & Fill bonds without a primer to wood, concrete, brick, metal and aluminium. Dampen the substrate with clean water before applying to ensure proper curing and prevent unwanted post-expansion.
