CERESIT TS 61 Polyurethane Assembly Foam, 500 ml (Hand-Held)
Hand-applied PU foam that fills joints, cavities and openings with a dense, stable seal.
CERESIT TS 61 is a single-component, hand-held polyurethane assembly foam in a 500 ml can, made by Henkel, for filling joints, cavities and openings around windows and doors. The foam is applied straight from the supplied straw, with no gun required, and cures on contact with moisture. It bonds firmly to wood, concrete, stone and metal.
Hand-held straw application — no gun needed
CERESIT TS 61 dispenses directly through the included straw, so it is ready to use right away with no separate applicator gun. The trigger controls the flow, making it easy to fill sparingly. Ideal for home repairs and one-off jobs around windows and doors.
Expands up to 2–2.5x for complete fill
CERESIT TS 61 self-expands to roughly 2 to 2.5 times its volume as it cures, reaching even hard-to-access cavities. Fill the gap to about 50% and leave room for expansion. The result is a dense, stable fill with good mechanical strength.
Thermal and sound insulation with strong adhesion
The uniform, closed-cell structure of CERESIT TS 61 delivers high thermal and sound insulation at the sealed point. The foam adheres excellently to most building materials — wood, concrete, stone and metal. It contains no chlorinated or fluorinated hydrocarbons (CFC) as propellant.
Works at +5 °C to +30 °C
Apply CERESIT TS 61 at an ambient temperature of +5 °C to +30 °C, keeping the can at room temperature for at least 12 hours beforehand. Shake vigorously 15–20 times before use and dampen porous surfaces for better adhesion. Fresh stains come off with PU foam cleaner or acetone, while cured foam can only be removed mechanically.
