One-component universal foam that fills gaps, cavities and openings with solid thermal and sound insulation.
AKFIX 805 is a 750 ml polyurethane hand-applied assembly foam for filling joints, cavities and mounting gaps around doors, windows and building details. This one-component foam dispenses straight through the supplied straw without a gun and cures with air humidity. It bonds to almost all construction materials and adds thermal and acoustic insulation to the sealed openings.
Straw applicator, no gun needed
AKFIX 805 dispenses through the included straw, making it handy for one-off jobs and home repairs. The one-component formula cures with air humidity and needs no extra equipment.
Fills joints, cavities and openings
The foam fills joints, cavities and mounting gaps when fitting doors and windows. Strong adhesion and good mounting capacity hold the element firmly in place once cured.
Thermal and sound insulation
AKFIX 805 adds thermal and acoustic insulation to the sealed gaps, reducing cold bridges around frames. The cured foam is water-resistant and resistant to mould and mildew.
Bonds to almost all building materials
The foam bonds to concrete, masonry, wood, metal and most construction surfaces. Exceptions are polyethylene, Teflon, silicone and surfaces contaminated with oils or grease; once cured it can be painted over.
Ozone-safe propellant
AKFIX 805 contains no propellant gases harmful to the ozone layer, making it a more environmentally friendly choice for indoor and outdoor work.
