The Xiaomi Mijia Electric Rotary Tool is a cordless mini rotary tool built for engraving, sanding, polishing and drilling small workpieces. The kit comes with the tool, 16 bits with 2.35 mm shanks, a storage case and a charging cable.

Brushless motor running at 15,000 to 22,000 rpm

The motor is a brushless coreless design, with speed set by a rotary knob. The upper end of the range handles wood carving, sanding metal and models, drilling pendant holes and polishing silver.

Run it on battery or plugged into USB power

The 800 mAh lithium-ion battery delivers up to 60 minutes of continuous use per charge and refills in about 90 minutes over USB Type-C. For longer sessions, the tool runs plugged into a 5 V / 3 A supply. The battery charges once the tool is idle.

2 cm anodised aluminium body for a pen-like grip

The tool is held like a pen, with a soft rubber coating on the grip area. Controls come down to one power button and a speed knob. Bits are swapped by twisting the tip, with no wrench needed.

ABS case with self-lifting bit tray

When the case is opened, the tray holding all 16 bits lifts up automatically. The set includes a wool polishing wheel, a twist drill bit, plus diamond, abrasive, rubber and wool grinding heads. The case's anti-roll design keeps the tool from rolling off the workbench.
