Float-finish mineral render that protects and shapes your facade.
BAUMIT Classico is a decorative dry-mix facade render that gives walls a smooth, even float finish on exterior and interior surfaces. This factory-blended powder is vapour-permeable and water-repellent, shielding the wall from the weather. It comes in a 25 kg bag and can be applied by hand or by machine.
Float finish for a polished facade look
BAUMIT Classico is rubbed down once it starts to set, creating its signature even float texture as the final coat. It works as a finishing layer over lime-cement, renovation and thermal renders. Applied continuously wet-on-wet, it delivers a clean, decorative facade without patchy marks.
Vapour-permeable, water-repellent protection
The render breathes, letting moisture escape from the wall while repelling rainwater from outside. It resists weathering and holds dirt only lightly, so the facade stays clean for longer. Its blend of hydrated lime, white cement and sands also makes it non-combustible.
Easy to apply by hand or machine
Each bag is mixed with about 5 litres of water for 3–5 minutes in a gravity mixer. BAUMIT Classico is thrown on with a trowel or applied with a rendering machine, then pulled off with a float and smoothed. Two coats are recommended for an even texture, with the second layer rubbed to structure.
Budget-friendly choice for non-insulated walls
BAUMIT Classico is a sound, low-cost option for the facades of non-insulated buildings, fences and outbuildings. It goes onto lime-cement and cement renders, thermal renders and other mineral substrates. Available only in off-white, it can be painted over after at least 14 days of drying.
