The MTX rail tile cutter 1200 mm is a manual tile cutter for ceramic tiles and porcelain stoneware. It handles tiles up to 1200 mm long and 16 mm thick, working without electricity and without dust. A swivelling angle guide holds the tile securely for cuts up to 45°.
Large-format tiles up to 1200 mm
With a 1200 mm cutting length, the MTX rail tile cutter covers today's large-format tiles and porcelain stoneware for bathrooms, terraces and facades. Tiles up to 16 mm thick are scored and snapped in one motion — no angle grinder, no dust indoors.
VK-8 carbide scoring wheel for lasting sharp cuts
The MTX cutter uses a VK-8 hard-alloy scoring wheel that keeps its edge over many metres of cutting and leaves a clean score line in the glaze. The result stays predictable even on harder porcelain stoneware.
Ball-bearing carriage on a steel rail
The carriage of the MTX tile cutter glides on ball bearings along a corrosion-protected steel rail, so the stroke stays light over the full length. Bolts adjust the carriage clamp on the rail to remove play and keep the score line straight.
45° angle guide and lightweight aluminium base
The swivelling angle guide of the MTX tile cutter locks the tile at any angle up to 45°, handy for diagonal layouts and corner details. The aluminium-alloy base keeps the weight around 11 kg, so one person can carry the cutter between jobs.
