The Kärcher HBX 4.20 Automatic hose box is a wall-mounted reel with a 20 m hose and automatic retraction for everyday garden watering. Pull out as much hose as you need — it locks in stages by itself, and a light tug sends it back in smoothly, without kinks or tangles. Connection hose, couplings and a nozzle are included, so the box is ready to use straight after mounting.
Automatic retraction — no bending, no cranking
The HBX 4.20 Automatic winds the hose back in after a light pull on its end. Retraction is controlled, so the hose stays free of twists and your hands stay clean. Stepped locking holds exactly the length you pulled out.
180° swivel reaches every corner
The wall bracket lets the box swivel through more than 180°. The hose follows the direction you are working in and reaches flower beds, lawn and car without dragging against the wall.
FlexChange: tool-free removal from the wall
The FlexChange system releases the box from its wall bracket in seconds, with no screws or tools — handy for winter storage. The same mount fits the optional ground spike when you want to water further out in the garden.
UV- and frost-resistant for year-round mounting
The HBX 4.20 Automatic housing is UV-resistant and frost-proof, so it can stay on the house wall all year. A cable lock can be attached for extra security.
Nozzle holder and a ready-to-water kit
Nozzles and spray lances hang on the wall bracket, always within reach. The kit includes a 1.5 m Primoflex connection hose, two universal couplings, one coupling with Aqua Stop, a G 3/4 tap adaptor with G 1/2 reducer and a nozzle with cone and point jet.
Compatible with Kärcher pressure washers
The couplings of the Kärcher HBX 4.20 Automatic fit all common click systems for garden hoses. Kärcher lists the box as a compatible accessory for K 2 to K 7 pressure washers, including the cordless KHB 4-18 and KHB 6 Battery.
