THERMAL TREND KOS 450/960 Heated Towel Rail, Steel, White, 579 W
Warms the bathroom and dries towels, with G1/2″ connections for your wet heating system.
The THERMAL TREND KOS 450/960 heated towel rail is a steel bathroom radiator measuring 450 mm wide and 960 mm high, made for water-based central or local heating systems. Its curved 20 mm horizontal tubes leave room for towels, while the 30x30 mm vertical profiles carry the load. Made by Thermal Trend in the Czech Republic.
G1/2″ connections with 416 mm centre distance
The inlets use an internal thread in the standard bathroom size, so an older radiator can be replaced without reworking the pipework. Working pressure is 1.0 MPa and the heat-transfer medium may reach 110 °C. Output figures apply to one-sided top-down connection.
Steel build with white anti-corrosion finish
The load-bearing verticals are 30x30 mm square profiles, while the horizontal bars are 20 mm tubes with a gentle forward curve. The white finish is made for the damp air of a bathroom, and the smooth surfaces wipe clean with a damp cloth.
Ready for an electric heating rod up to 300 W
For this size the manufacturer recommends a 1/2″ heating rod rated at 300 W, purchased separately. Fitted with a rod, the rail also works outside the heating season, independently of the boiler. Water content of the body is 3.37 l.
Mounting kit with brackets and air vent
Delivery includes plastic wall brackets, the connection pieces with washers and a venting valve. A 10 mm masonry bit is needed for the wall holes. Metal brackets are available on request.
