Sika SikaCeram-220 Tile Adhesive, C2TE, 25 kg

Cement-based C2TE adhesive with high slip resistance and extended open time for stress-free tiling.

Sika SikaCeram-220 is a cement-based, polymer-modified tile adhesive, classified C2TE to EN 12004, for floor and wall ceramic tiles indoors and outdoors. It comes as a ready-to-use powder that only needs water and is laid in layers up to 10 mm thick. It suits ceramic tiles, porcelain, natural stone, underfloor heating and indoor pools.

C2TE class for a strong, lasting bond

Sika SikaCeram-220 meets EN 12004 class C2TE with an initial tensile bond strength of 1.7 N/mm², holding tiles firmly on floors and walls. Its resistance to water and rain makes it a reliable choice for bathrooms, terraces and outdoor surfaces.

Extended open time for unhurried work

An open time of around 30 minutes gives the tiler more freedom to position and adjust tiles before the adhesive sets. The mixed adhesive stays workable for about 6 hours, making larger areas easier to finish.

High slip resistance on walls

Sika SikaCeram-220 is thixotropic with high slip resistance, so tiles stay put during vertical installation instead of sliding down. This simplifies wall cladding and work with larger-format tiles.

Versatile use across many substrates

Sika SikaCeram-220 bonds to concrete, cement mortar, brick and plasterboard, and to specific substrates after a suitable primer. It is approved for underfloor heating and indoor pools, making it a versatile pick for bathroom, kitchen and terrace projects.
