Mapei Keraflex Maxi S1 Cementitious Tile Adhesive, 25 kg

Holds large-format tiles firmly with no slip, even in a thick bed.

Mapei Keraflex Maxi S1 is a high-performance, deformable cementitious tile adhesive (class C2TE S1) for large-format porcelain, ceramic and natural stone on walls and floors. It applies in beds up to 15 mm thick with no vertical slip. Supplied in a 25 kg bag for interior and exterior use.

Class C2TE S1 deformable adhesive for a lasting bond

Mapei Keraflex Maxi S1 is classified C2TE S1 to EN 12004 – an improved cementitious adhesive with extended open time and deformability. The S1 class lets the adhesive absorb stress from thermal movement and vibration, making it ideal for heated floors and facades. The adhesive comes in grey and white.

No vertical slip for heavy, large-format tiles

Keraflex Maxi S1 is highly thixotropic and can be applied to vertical surfaces without slumping. Even heavy, large-format tiles stay put without sliding, speeding up wall work. The adhesive is especially recommended for large porcelain and natural stone tiles.

Thick bed up to 15 mm to level out unevenness

Keraflex Maxi S1 applies in a bed up to 15 mm thick, letting you smooth out minor substrate irregularities in one pass. Consumption is about 1.2 kg/m² for each millimetre of thickness. One 25 kg bag mixes with roughly 7.75–8.25 l of clean water.

Extended open time and Low Dust technology

Keraflex Maxi S1 offers an open time of over 30 minutes, giving you more freedom when tiling large areas. Low Dust technology cuts airborne dust during mixing for cleaner, healthier work. The adhesive has very low volatile organic compound emissions (EMICODE EC1 Plus).
