Super-flexible adhesive for large-format tiles that sets fast in any season.
ISOMAT AK-24 CRYSTAL GEL is a premium flexible cementitious tile adhesive built on Crystal Gel technology for large-format tiles. Classified C2 TE S1 to EN 12004, it works on walls and floors, indoors and outdoors. It comes in a 25 kg bag with coverage of 1.5–4.0 kg/m².
Crystal Gel technology for faster setting
ISOMAT AK-24 CRYSTAL GEL combines Crystal Seeding and Gel technologies in one product. The adhesive bonds and hardens faster than standard adhesives, allowing wall grouting after 3–6 hours, while performance stays almost unaffected by the application temperature. This lets AK-24 CRYSTAL GEL speed up project completion in any season.
Ideal for large-format tiles and porcelain
ISOMAT AK-24 CRYSTAL GEL suits absorbent and non-absorbent wall and floor tiles including glass ceramics, porcelain, natural stone, decorative brick and large-format tiles. The adhesive also handles demanding substrates such as old tiles, balconies, swimming pools, plasterboard and heated floors. It can be applied in layers up to 15 mm thick.
Paste-like consistency with no vertical slip
The smooth, paste-like consistency of ISOMAT AK-24 CRYSTAL GEL delivers excellent workability and easy spreading. Its thixotropic formula prevents vertical slip (≤ 0.5 mm) for secure application on walls. A long open time of at least 30 minutes leaves room for adjustments even in hot weather.
High adhesion and resistance to moisture and frost
ISOMAT AK-24 CRYSTAL GEL reaches a bond strength of ≥ 2.00 N/mm² after 28 days and keeps its strength after heat ageing, water immersion and 25 freeze-thaw cycles. The adhesive withstands temperatures from -30°C to +90°C, making it fit for open terraces, pools and facades. It is certified to EN 12004 and CE marked.
