Flexible gel adhesive for ceramics, porcelain and natural stone on demanding substrates, indoors and out.

CERESIT CM 16 GEL is a flexible, class C2 TE tile adhesive for laying ceramic tiles, porcelain stoneware and natural stone. It works indoors and outdoors, including on flexing or critical substrates such as balconies, terraces and underfloor-heated floors. The creamy gel consistency makes spreading easy and bonds tiles up to 1 m² in size, with one edge up to 120 cm.

Flexible bond for substrates that move

CERESIT CM 16 GEL is built for critical, flexing substrates where standard adhesives crack. Its flexibility absorbs movement in floors and walls, keeping tiles firmly in place over the years.

Indoors and out — balconies, terraces, underfloor heating

The CERESIT CM 16 GEL adhesive suits wet areas and water-exposed surfaces, including balconies and terraces. It can be applied over underfloor heating and waterproofed surfaces, as well as tile-on-tile for renovations.

Creamy gel consistency for easy spreading

The gel technology of CERESIT CM 16 GEL delivers a creamy mix that spreads and combs out effortlessly. The result is an even bed and cleaner, faster work for the installer.

Class C2 TE — strong grip with more working time

CERESIT CM 16 GEL meets class C2 TE: an improved cementitious adhesive (C2) with extended open time (E) and reduced slip (T). Tiles stay put on walls without sliding, and there is more time for adjustments.

Bonds to a wide range of substrates

CERESIT CM 16 GEL applies to concrete, cement screeds and renders, lime plasters, and also anhydrite, gypsum bases and aerated concrete (dust-free and primed). Apply in dry conditions at air and substrate temperatures between 5 °C and 40 °C.
