ISOMAT PS-21 Water-Repellent Impregnation
Long-lasting protection from rainwater that still lets the surface breathe.
ISOMAT PS-21 is a ready-to-use, water-based silane/siloxane hydrophobic impregnation that protects porous mineral surfaces from water penetration. It soaks into the pores without forming a film, keeping the natural look of the substrate. It suits facades, natural stone, exposed masonry, concrete, roof tiles, tiles and joints, and can even be applied on slightly damp surfaces.
High water repellency without changing the look
ISOMAT PS-21 repels rainwater and stops it from penetrating the pores of the substrate. It leaves no film on the surface, so the colour and texture of the stone, concrete or render stay unchanged. It is ideal for visible facades where appearance matters.
Vapour permeability — the structure breathes
The strong vapour permeability of ISOMAT PS-21 lets moisture inside the structure escape outward. This prevents water from being trapped in the wall and extends the life of the substrate. At the same time the surface stays protected on the outside.
Protection from stains, salts and carbonation
By stopping rainwater from soaking in, ISOMAT PS-21 reduces salt staining and dirt build-up on the surface. It also protects the substrate against carbonation and frost damage. It even works on highly alkaline surfaces.
Easy application on many substrates
ISOMAT PS-21 is applied with a brush, roller or spray on vertical surfaces, and with a rubber float on horizontal ones. It can be applied even on slightly damp substrates, which speeds up work on site. Tools clean up with water right after use.
