EcoFlow WAVE 3 Portable Air Conditioner, 6100 BTU/h Cooling and 6800 BTU/h Heating, R290, Wi-Fi and Bluetooth

Runs on mains or on battery power: cooling for spaces without a fixed installation.

The EcoFlow WAVE 3 portable air conditioner cools, heats and dehumidifies a single room, camper, tent or worksite with no wall installation required. Control it from the display, the remote or the EcoFlow app over Wi-Fi and Bluetooth. It runs on R290 refrigerant and vents through the insulated exhaust duct via a window or tent opening.

Cooling and heating in one unit

Cooling output is 6100 BTU/h and heating output 6800 BTU/h, with a set-point range from 16 °C to 30 °C. The manufacturer measures an 8 °C drop in an enclosed space within 15 minutes, and a 9 °C rise in heating mode over the same period. A separate dehumidifying mode handles damp basements and campers.

Up to 8 hours on the add-on battery

The 1024 Wh LFP add-on battery docks under the unit and delivers 2 to 8 hours of runtime depending on mode, enough for a night off-grid. The cells retain over 80% of capacity after 4000 cycles. The battery is sold separately and also fits WAVE 2 units.

Charge from mains, vehicle or solar

Power input is 100–240 V, 50/60 Hz at up to 820 W from the wall. The add-on battery accepts up to 1000 W in total, 400 W from solar and 200 W from a 12 V/24 V car socket, with combined charging taking about 75 minutes. Its 18 W USB-A and 140 W USB-C ports also top up a phone or laptop.

EcoFlow app with water alerts and scheduling

The app shows live battery status, sets modes and scheduled shutdown, and pushes an alert when the water tank fills. Auto mode switches to heating as temperatures drop, while sleep mode keeps fan speed low overnight. A dedicated pet care function is also included.

R290 refrigerant and IPX4 protection

The charge is 112 g of R290, a hydrocarbon refrigerant with low climate impact. The housing carries IPX4 protection against splashing water from any direction, with an ambient operating range of 5 °C to 50 °C. Air volume is 330 m³/h.
