GARDENA 01278-27 Irrigation Valve 24 V, 1" female thread

Works from 0.5 to 12 bar and opens by hand whenever the timer is off duty.

The GARDENA 01278-27 is the 24 V solenoid valve that drives GARDENA irrigation control systems. It connects via a 1" female thread and carries a built-in self-cleaning filter.

Built for GARDENA irrigation controls

The valve is required for the 4040 modular, 4030 and 6030 control units (art. 1276-20, 1283-20, 1284-20) and for the Comfort extension module (art. 1277-20). Each watering zone is switched by its own valve.

Manual open and close at any time

A selector lever lets you start or stop the flow independently of the automatic programme, handy for an extra soak or when servicing the line.

Self-cleaning filter keeps water flowing

The integrated filter element traps particles from the mains water and flushes itself with every cycle, so watering runs on without dismantling for cleaning.

24 V AC supply for safe garden wiring

The cable runs to the controller's transformer and the valve can sit in a valve box below ground level. The medium is clean fresh water up to 40 °C.
