MARISAN HYDROZOL HYDRO ROOF is a water-based hybrid liquid roof waterproofing made from synthetic resins, ready to apply with a brush, roller or trowel. It works as a finishing coat over concrete, cement screeds, wood, metal and old bituminous or polyurethane membranes. This 1 kg plastic tub is handy for repairs and smaller areas.
Complete protection from water and moisture
MARISAN HYDRO ROOF dries to a smooth, dense film that seals capillary cracks and holds back even standing water. It keeps roofs, terraces and canopies free of leaks and damp all year round.
Elastic from -30 °C to +80 °C
The coating stays flexible across a wide temperature range and bridges substrate cracks up to 2 mm. It absorbs the normal shrinkage and expansion caused by temperature swings and vibration without cracking.
UV-resistant and sun-reflecting
The white HYDRO ROOF film resists UV rays and acid rain and reflects solar radiation. Applied over old bitumen membranes it lowers the roof surface temperature and slows their ageing.
Easy application and fast drying
The thixotropic paste spreads easily with a brush, roller or trowel over horizontal, vertical and sloped surfaces. Each coat dries in 2–3 hours and fully cures within 24 hours, so the job is finished quickly.
For new roofs and repairs of old ones
MARISAN HYDRO ROOF goes onto concrete, cement slabs and screeds, wood and metal, and refurbishes old bituminous and polyurethane waterproofing. It also suits canopies, cornices, verandas and the protection of ventilation elements and skylights.
