Ready-to-use paste that seals leaks on bituminous and sheet-metal roofs.
MARISAN HYDROZOL BP is a modified bituminous roof paste for permanently sealing holes and stopping leaks during roof repairs. This ready-to-use trowelling compound needs no pre-heating and, once cured, forms a highly elastic, watertight film that will not shrink or crack. It suits bituminous and sheet-metal roofs, chimneys, pipes, vents and roof-to-wall joints.
Stops leaks on bituminous and metal roofs
MARISAN HYDROZOL BP seals joints and stops leaks between roofing sheets and slabs of every kind. The paste fills structural details and openings around aerials, chimneys, pipes and roof windows, plus cracks and leaks in gutters.
Highly elastic film that will not crack
Once cured, HYDROZOL BP forms a watertight, highly elastic film that neither shrinks nor cracks. It withstands service temperatures from -30°C to +100°C, keeping the seal reliable all year round.
Excellent adhesion, works even below water level
MARISAN HYDROZOL BP bonds excellently to dry and damp substrates, bituminous surfaces and most building materials. It stays effective even below water level and protects horizontal surfaces from ground moisture and water.
Ready to use, applied without heating
HYDROZOL BP comes ready to use and is applied with a spatula or trowel in a layer up to 3–4 mm thick, with no pre-heating. For a blister-free finish, 2–3 coats are recommended, each applied only after the previous one has fully dried.
Resistant to aggressive environments
MARISAN HYDROZOL BP resists dilute acids, alkalis, salt and industrial gases. After drying, the coating can be overlaid with asphalt, roofing membranes and other finishes for roof renovation.
