Bituminous waterproofing emulsion

ISOMAT ISOPAST Bituminous Waterproofing Emulsion 5 kg

Solvent-free, water-based waterproofing for roofs, foundations and walls.

ISOMAT ISOPAST is a solvent-free, water-based bituminous waterproofing emulsion that protects concrete, metal, wood and other substrates from moisture. Applied by roller, brush or airless spray, it cures into a dense membrane that resists low-concentration acids and alkalis. The 5 kg pack suits flat and pitched roofs, floors, exterior walls and foundations, and also works as a primer beneath bituminous membranes.

Water-based and solvent-free for safer application

ISOMAT ISOPAST is water-based and solvent-free, making it easier to work with indoors and in poorly ventilated areas. Tools clean up with plenty of water right after use. The emulsion can even be applied onto slightly damp substrates.

Strong adhesion to concrete, metal and wood

ISOPAST bonds firmly to concrete, metal, wood, polyurethane and polystyrene, making it versatile across many building details. Once cured it forms a membrane unaffected by the minerals in the substrate. A single product therefore covers many waterproofing points in a project.

Waterproofing and primer under bituminous membranes

ISOMAT ISOPAST waterproofs flat roofs, floors, exterior walls and foundations, and also primes surfaces before bituminous membranes are bonded. For waterproofing you apply one diluted primer coat plus at least two further coats. On roofs the consumption is around 2.5 kg/m².

Resistant to weak acids and alkalis

The cured ISOPAST membrane resists low-concentration acidic and alkaline solutions. On surfaces exposed to UV light, protect it with ISOLAC-BT ALU aluminium coating. The application temperature range is between +5°C and +35°C.
