VITEX STEGANOL 20 L is a bituminous varnish based on special asphalt and solvents, used for waterproofing and protecting building surfaces. It forms a protective membrane with high resistance to water, dilute acid solutions and alkalis, and also works as a primer for bonding bituminous membranes.
Waterproofing for concrete and metal
VITEX STEGANOL protects and waterproofs concrete and metal surfaces such as roofs, basement walls, foundations, underground drainage pipes and tanks (concrete or metal). The membrane it forms resists water, dilute acids and alkalis.
Excellent adhesion on many surfaces
The VITEX STEGANOL bituminous varnish bonds firmly to concrete, lightweight concrete, metal, wood, stone, brick and plasterboard, making it a versatile choice across different construction details on a single site.
Fast drying and primer for membranes
VITEX STEGANOL becomes touch-dry in 30–60 minutes and can be recoated after 3–4 hours, keeping the job moving. Diluted with 20% petrol, it also serves as a primer for bonding bituminous membranes.
