The BLACK+DECKER GTC1845L20-QW is an 18 V cordless hedge trimmer with a 45 cm blade. It comes with one 2.0 Ah lithium-ion battery and a charger, and is built for regular garden use around the home.
45 cm blade with 18 mm tooth gap
The trimmer cuts branches up to 18 mm thick, which covers the older, woodier growth in box, privet or conifer hedges. The diamond-sharpened dual-action blades cut on both the forward and back stroke.
1300 strokes per minute for an even cut
Blade speed runs at 1300 strokes per minute, keeping the cut face clean instead of tearing the foliage. The blade brake stops the cutters in under one second once you release the trigger.
18 V POWERCONNECT battery shared across tools
The 2.0 Ah pack belongs to the BLACK+DECKER 18 V POWERCONNECT system and fits the other garden tools and power tools in the range. Lithium-ion cells hold their charge between jobs with no memory effect.
Two-position switch and 2.6 kg weight
Starting requires both switches at once, so the tool cannot fire when you simply grip the handles. The low weight makes overhead work on taller hedge sections manageable.
