ISOMAT AQUAMAT One-Component Cementitious Waterproofing, 25 kg

Brush-applied cementitious waterproofing that resists water pressure up to 5 atm — even from the inside of the structure.

ISOMAT AQUAMAT is a one-component, cement-based, brush-applied waterproofing that gives concrete, masonry, screeds and renders lasting protection against water. It is designed for foundations, basements, water tanks, swimming pools and sewage reservoirs. The coating withstands positive hydrostatic pressure up to 5 atm as well as negative pressure, so it can be applied on the inner face of underground structures.

Resists water pressure up to 5 atm

ISOMAT AQUAMAT provides full waterproofing against positive hydrostatic pressure, tested to EN 12390-8. That makes it a reliable choice for water tanks, swimming pools and structures under constant water load.

Works under negative pressure too

AQUAMAT bonds so strongly to the substrate that it holds back water even under negative pressure, when water pushes from the outside. This lets you waterproof a basement or buried wall from the inside, without excavation.

Safe for drinking water and food contact

ISOMAT AQUAMAT is approved for drinking-water reservoirs and surfaces in direct contact with food according to W347. It also shields concrete against carbonation and has no corrosive effect on reinforcement steel.

Easy, economical brush application

AQUAMAT mixes with water alone and is brushed onto concrete, brickwork, screeds and renders. With a coverage of 2.0–4.0 kg/m², the 25 kg bag covers large areas on foundations and basements.

Choose an elastic version for cracking substrates

AQUAMAT is intended for stable substrates. For terraces, balconies and surfaces where cracks are expected, the manufacturer recommends the two-component elastic membranes ISOMAT AQUAMAT-FLEX or AQUAMAT-ELASTIC.
