ISOMAT AQUAMAT is a one-component cementitious brush-applied waterproofing for concrete, masonry, screeds and renders. It forms a dense protective coating against damp, standing water and pressurised water. It suits basements, foundations, water tanks, swimming pools and surfaces in contact with drinking water.

Withstands water pressure up to 5 atm

AQUAMAT resists positive hydrostatic pressure up to 5 atm per EN 12390-8, plus negative pressure too. This lets you waterproof underground areas even when water pushes from the outside, as in basements and foundations.

Safe for drinking water and food surfaces

AQUAMAT is approved for drinking-water tanks and surfaces in direct contact with food per the W347 standard. That makes it a reliable choice for water reservoirs and pools.

Strong adhesion and concrete protection

AQUAMAT bonds firmly to concrete, masonry, screeds and renders even under negative pressure. It protects concrete against carbonation and has no corrosive effect on reinforcing steel.

Easy, economical brush application

AQUAMAT is mixed with water and brushed onto the substrate, handling everything from damp to pressurised water. For terraces, balconies and surfaces prone to cracking, ISOMAT recommends the elastic grades AQUAMAT-FLEX or AQUAMAT-ELASTIC.
