ISOMAT SL-17 Under-Tile Waterproofing Membrane, 5 kg
Ready-to-use elastic liquid membrane that seals bathrooms and wet rooms before tiling.
ISOMAT SL-17 is a ready-to-use, brush-applied elastic liquid waterproofing designed to go under tiles in high-humidity rooms. Applied straight from the bucket with a brush or trowel over floors and walls, it cures into a seamless, flexible membrane. This 5 kg pack covers roughly 3.3–5 m² at the recommended 1.0–1.5 kg/m².
Seamless protection for bathrooms and showers
ISOMAT SL-17 forms one continuous membrane with no joints or seams, exactly where water tends to sneak through. It is ideal for bathrooms, shower enclosures and other wet rooms before the ceramic tiles go down.
Elastic membrane that resists cracking
Once cured, ISOMAT SL-17 stays flexible and vapour-permeable, with elongation at break above 100%. It follows the movement of the substrate without cracking while letting the wall breathe instead of trapping moisture under the tiles.
Strong grip on almost any surface
ISOMAT SL-17 bonds to concrete, plaster, plasterboard, chipboard and timber panels, with adhesion strength above 2.5 N/mm². That means a reliable grip on both floors and walls in renovations and new builds alike.
Fast drying for a quicker job
With ISOMAT SL-17 the second coat goes on after just 1–2 hours at +20°C, and tiling can start in about 6 hours. The solvent-free, ready-to-use formula needs no mixing and keeps the whole project moving.
