CERESIT CT 7 Universal Primer 5 L

Cuts down substrate absorbency and boosts adhesion before painting, tiling or thermal insulation.

CERESIT CT 7 is a water-based universal primer that prepares absorbent surfaces for finishing work. It reduces and evens out the absorbency of concrete, cement and lime-cement plasters, cellular concrete, gypsum and aerated-concrete substrates. Suitable indoors and outdoors, it works ahead of painting, wallpapering, filling, ceramic tiling or thermal insulation.

Reduced absorbency for an even finish

CERESIT CT 7 evens out and reduces how much the substrate soaks up, so the next coat of paint, adhesive or plaster spreads uniformly. The result is lower finishing-material use and a more predictable finish. It is especially recommended for highly absorbent gypsum and aerated-concrete surfaces.

Vapour-permeable primer keeps walls breathing

CERESIT CT 7 stays vapour-permeable, letting walls breathe and supporting natural moisture transfer in the room. That makes it a fit for both living interiors and facades. The product is water-based and eco-friendly.

Fast drying in about 2 hours

CERESIT CT 7 dries in roughly 2 hours, shortening the wait between priming and the next step. Apply it easily with a brush or roller onto a dry, sound substrate. If the surface is still absorbent after drying, repeat the priming.

Universal use, indoors and out

CERESIT CT 7 goes onto concrete, cement and lime-cement screeds, cellular concrete, gypsum and aerated-concrete substrates, as well as non-impregnated plasterboard. It prepares the surface for ceramic tiles, paints, wallpaper, filler and thermal insulation. Apply it with air and substrate temperature between +5°C and +25°C.
