MARISAN TERAKONTAKT is a contact and bonding primer with quartz sand that turns smooth, non-absorbent surfaces into a secure gripping base. Ready to use, solvent-free and odourless, it suits tile-on-tile work and priming over wood, metal, glass and old polished concrete. It performs equally well indoors and outdoors.
Strong grip on difficult surfaces
MARISAN TERAKONTAKT builds a secure contact layer even where ordinary primers fail — glazed tiles, glass, steel, fibreglass and heavily painted walls. The fine quartz sand roughens the surface and spreads adhesion evenly for the next layer of adhesive or screed.
Tile over tile without demolition
The primer lets you lay new coverings straight over old ceramic tiles and wooden surfaces, saving you the demolition and clean-up. It also prepares the base before floor screeds or new concrete over old polished concrete.
Odourless and solvent-free
MARISAN TERAKONTAKT contains no solvents, softeners or odour, making it convenient for occupied rooms and food storage areas. It also binds surface dust for a cleaner base.
Ready to use and fast-drying
The primer comes ready to use — just stir well and apply with a brush, roller or sprayer, with no water dilution. Under optimal conditions it dries in about 2–4 hours, so the next steps can start the same day.
