MARISAN TERAKONTAKT is a contact and bonding primer with fine quartz sand that prepares smooth, non-absorbent and wooden substrates for tiling and rendering. It forms a rough contact layer with very high adhesion, so tile adhesive, filler or screed keys firmly into the surface. Ready to use, solvent-free and odourless, it suits both interior and exterior work.
Quartz sand that anchors every layer
TERAKONTAKT contains fine quartz sand that leaves the surface rough and scratch-resistant once dry. This lets adhesive key in firmly even on tricky substrates such as terrazzo, glazed tiles, glass, steel and polished concrete.
Tile over tile and over wood
MARISAN TERAKONTAKT is the make for over-iling on old ceramic coverings and for priming solid wood or chipboard floors. It builds a dependable bond between the old surface and the new adhesive layer, cutting the risk of the new covering peeling away.
Ready to use, solvent-free and odourless
The primer comes ready to use and must not be thinned with water — just stir it well before applying. Free of solvents, plasticisers and odour, TERAKONTAKT is safe to use in occupied rooms and food storage areas.
Fast drying keeps the job moving
Under good conditions TERAKONTAKT dries in about 2–4 hours, so you can move on to laying the covering sooner. Apply it easily with a brush, or with a roller or sprayer on load-bearing substrates.
