Strong adhesion on difficult surfaces before tiling and self-levelling
CERESIT CN 94 is a water-based primer concentrate that ensures reliable bonding of levelling compounds, ceramics and natural stone on critical surfaces. It works on both absorbent and non-absorbent bases and even allows tile-on-tile installation. Supplied as a 1 L bottle, it is diluted with water at a 1:3 ratio.
Adhesion on non-absorbent and difficult bases
CERESIT CN 94 forms a firm bond where ordinary primers fail — old ceramic tiles, dispersion and epoxy paints, and screeds with adhesive residue. The primer strengthens the surface and improves adhesion before new coverings go down.
Concentrate diluted with water at 1:3
CERESIT CN 94 is a concentrate — one part primer mixed with three parts water covers a large area from a small bottle. On non-absorbent bases such as wood and mastic asphalt screeds, CN 94 is used undiluted for maximum bond.
Fast drying in 2–4 hours
Applied in thin coats with a brush, CERESIT CN 94 dries in 2 to 4 hours depending on the base. This lets you move on quickly to laying screed, filler or tile adhesive within the same working day.
Wide use indoors and outdoors
CERESIT CN 94 is applied to vertical and horizontal surfaces — cement and lime plasters, concrete, gypsum and aerated concrete bases, ceramics and stone. For critical bases such as paints and adhesive residue it is recommended for interior use only.
