ISOMAT ISO-PRIMER is a ready-to-use, water-based polymer emulsion applied as a base coat before liquid elastic waterproofing membranes. It soaks into the pores of the surface and acts as a bonding layer between the membrane and the substrate. It suits concrete, masonry, plaster and plasterboard.
Strong bond for elastic waterproofing
ISO-PRIMER delivers excellent adhesion for the ISOFLEX, ISOFLEX-HYBRID and ISOFLEX-AEGEAN liquid membranes on porous substrates. It penetrates the pores and forms a bonding layer that prevents peeling and blistering. The waterproofing then lays evenly and lasts longer.
Ready to use, easy to apply with brush or roller
ISO-PRIMER is stirred and applied straight from the container, with no dilution needed. Spread it evenly by brush, roller or spray onto a dry, clean surface. Coverage is 200-300 g/m² depending on how absorbent the substrate is.
Water-based with low VOC content
ISO-PRIMER is a water-based polymer emulsion with a VOC (volatile organic compound) content below 30 g/l. This makes it more comfortable to work with indoors and keeps odour low. It is suitable for concrete, masonry, plaster and plasterboard.
